Winner!

I’ve never run into a guy who could win at the top level in anything today and didn’t have the right attitude, didn’t give it everything he had, at least while he was doing it; wasn’t prepared and didn’t have the whole program worked out.
— Ted Turner

Getting prepared, having an attitude of gratitude, planning, and focus on what you are becoming makes recovery and life better and better and better by the day.  It gives you that extra ounce of courage when the tough times hit.  It allows you to dream about your future.  Too many of us come into the recovery process beat up internally, with an expectation of losing again.  We slowly transition to an expectation of just getting by, but if we focus on the right things for the right reasons we begin to change and we begin to win.

We start to develop a positive mindset and we begin to realize we are worth it. Life is good and we deserve to give it all we have.  We start to realize that we are not our past we are who we are becoming, clean, sober, happy, joyous and productive members of life!

Go, Go, Go…
