Triumph

“Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory or defeat.”  Theodore Roosevelt

If you want to know anything about success you must be willing to taste failure.  Show me someone that has succeeded and I will show you a bunch of failure in their trail.  When it comes to recovery many of us have had several failures before we surrendered.  We have tried to take the pledge, swear off, change drinks, change friends, change bar tenders…  I have heard of so many things people have tried it is amazing.  But recovery comes when we begin to add the steps into our lives.  When we begin to do what the folks before us have done to get and stay clean and sober.

Life is good, tell us why you believe that.  Share with us some of your attempts.  Tell us what happened for you to flip the switch.

Go, Go, Go…

Dan 🙂
