Alcohol and Addiction — Recovery Mentoring
Lets face it staying clean and sober is much easier than getting sober. The detoxification process is extremely uncomfortable at best. Beginning the recovery process takes endurance, patience and diligence. The road ahead is challenging but well worth the work it takes to recover. Once an individual has detoxed, completed thirty to ninety days in rehab, and or Intensive Outpatient Therapy (IOP) setting the stage for continued abstinence, what is next? What about individuals that do not have the funds to build their recovery foundation via these methods, what are their choices? Or how about people that find themselves in a rut or at a turning point in their recovery, folks that are susceptible to relapse?
If you are sick and tired of being sick and tired or you just can’t seem to get out of your own way, the answer is personal recovery counseling. What is personal recovery counseling? It is primarily one on one recovery mentoring for those in need of aftercare services, individuals on the edge of relapse, low self esteem, in need of spiritual guidance or no vocational direction plan, quite frankly, anyone that is not happy, joyous and free of the bondage of self and addiction. If you are searching for answers and attending AA, NA or other mutual support programs is not working fully for you, personal recovery counseling is for you.
