Optimism

“Optimism is the one quality more associated with success and happiness than any other ”  – Brian Tracy

An optimistic view of our future is in order.  Life gets better and better and better every day in every way.  The life of recovery is more than simply just not drinking and drugging.  The life of recovery is an opportunity to excel.  It is our gift from God to make our presence here on Earth felt.  It is the opportunity to live our dreams.  To make life fun and enjoyable.

Be a giver to life and see what you reap!  If you have downloaded our workbook, you know that there are days when we suggest that you do something good for someone anonymously and not tell anyone that you have done it.  That is essential in building your humility.  We all feel good about doing things for others and it feels better to tell people about the good we did.  But true humility is developed by keeping it between you and God.  Do you know someone that is hurting financially?  Stick some cash in an envelope and pop it in the mail from a different location so they can not figure out who did it.  Or simply drop it in their box when they are not home.

Okay so what does this have to do with excelling in life?  How about everything, my friend Tucker says, You Get What You Give!  To excel in life you must be a giver, a goal setter, hard worker, honest, diligent, sober, grateful and above all, OPTIMISTIC!

Go, Go, Go…
