Learning experience

“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.” Helen Keller

The recovered life is a learning experience.  Yes life in general is a learning experience but for those of us that have the added benefit of recovery we are committed to learning from our mistakes.  I truly believe we have an advantage over people that are not involved in recovery.  As alcoholic, addicts or problem users we typically start out behind the curve, but as we implement recovery principles as a way of life we grow rapidly.  When we implement the A.B.C.’s of the Recovered Life we begin to see things differently.

What are the ABC’s or the Recovered Life?  A stands for Always Be Positive.  B is Be a Student of Life, and C is Cheerlead Others.  Implement these three principles and your life will change for the better, GUARANTEED!  We begin to see every challenge as an opportunity.  We begin to forgive others and ourselves.  We recognize that the door of happiness is wide open for us!

Life is goooood….

Go, Go, Go…

Dan 🙂
