How We Think!

“There ain’t nothing from the outside can lick any of us.” – Margaret Mitchell

It all comes from between our two ears.  It is how we interpret outside influences or events and what we allow our mind to do with it.  First do we interpret challenges as an opportunity to change direction or do we see it as a dead end?  What are the questions that we ask ourselves in the face of adversity?  “I can’t get through this?”  or “How am I going to get through this?”.

It is our interpretation of negative events that feeds us with the fear “let’s retreat”, or fear “let’s fight”!  When I say retreat I mean “I quit”!  When I say fight I mean, “a response that see’s the experience as an opportunity to grow”!  It is up to us how we interpret.  Of course it takes practice.  It helps to have a mentor or sponsor, someone that has walked the walk.  Find a person that has faced the same challenges successfully, and ask them for the help!

It is all in how we think!

Go, Go, Go…
