Happy Valentines Day!

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. — Lao Tzu

I have learned over the years that life is about Love. In the Bible it says “God is Love”, Universalists say the creator is Love, East and West philosophers indicate that Love makes the world go round. Love! On St. Valentines Day it is the day we celebrate our love for loved ones. It is primarily a day to express our love to our spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend, fiance’ or significant other.

In recovery we learn to walk humbly and with love and compassion for others. We learn that every day is Valentines Day! Life is good!

Go, Go, Go…

Good morning Dan,
It is a great day to be sober. In responce to that powerful subjcet
of being able to be loved and express love. I for far to many years could not express
love, this emotion was within my prison built by fear. By the grace of our
Lord, growing in soberiety has allowed me to replace fear with faith
and has blessed me with the gift of opening up, to be intimate
in allowing people to get close to me, and the power to say I love you
not expecting anything in return. I truly believe, as a people we need
carry the love and light to heal a world that is spiritually sick.
Thru my prayers and meditations Jesus reminds me to carry the love and light
And that means to everyone that crosses my path, wether friend or foe!
Love ya Dan
