“ Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.” Mark Twain
As life evolves and we make changes in our lives to follow our hearts and our dreams to fulfill our purpose there are those that choose to stay stagnant. Those folks in their pain of conformity have a tendency to “talk some sense into you”. In Earl Nightingale’s “The Greatest Secret”, he states that out of 100 people age 25 by the time they are 65 only one person will be rich, four will be financially independent, forty-one will be still working and fifty-four will be dead broke!
That was written in 1957 and remains fairly consistent today! Yes, you can blame it on the economy, government, our educational system, mom and dad you name it. But the fact is, it is still valid today. Do not allow yourself or your life to slip away. Do not become a negative statistic. Do not allow the nay-sayers to hold you back. There are tons of valid reasons not to do something great. If you choose to you can accept them and when you hit 65 or 70 look back on your life with regret!
Life is awesome but you must go seize it! What is your cause? It does not need to be life shattering. It can be anything that moves you. Go create the best pizza in the world! I know that sounds crazy but here is a hint, make sure it is NY style pizza! Sorry Chicago! California please give up and use the cracker for a soup condiment!
Hey life is good, do not conform to what you think it is dealing you. Go seize the day, seize your life! It is yours and you only have one shot!
Go, Go, Go…
