“Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
– Steve Jobs
There is no doubt in my mind that the number one desire of every human being is “happiness”. Happiness comes in many forms. Being connected to God brings us enormous joy and spiritual health. But I must admit I have met many people that communicate their joy in the Lord but underneath they struggle. It is my belief that recovery requires that we begin to fulfill our potential and not the other way around. I have heard people say that they do not deserve the better things in life. They are simply grateful they have recovered and deserve nothing more!
This is nonsense, no matter how far down the pole we have gone if we implement the principles into our lives and change we can and we will fulfill all that we deserve. In fact when we can pray that we get what we deserve we have probably done a good job cleaning up the wreckage of the past. If we work the steps in our lives we have made the proper amends and we are ready to move on! Do not ever settle for less, do the work and reap the rewards of a great life!!!
Go, Go, Go…
