As the world grows as far as the East is from the West with the ever expanding World Wide Web, the Internet.  So does our ability to fellowship further from our homes and at any hour of any day.  No longer do we need to wait for a meeting, share a thought with a friend or pour our heart out with a fellow addict.  The emergence of the web on the recovery community has helped to expand our reach beyond anything we could have ever imagined.  There are many forums and online social networks.

One of these networks is Sobriety.org a network that has been launched as a social network for sobriety and those in recovery or looking to sober up and stay that way. The key to 12 step meetings and other secular groups is the need to seek out help in sobriety and speak to others who have experienced addiction, our network aims to do just that. The newcomer can find the group that best suits him or her best and the seasoned individual can write blogs, take part in forums and meet with others of like mind and spirit.

The site welcomes everyone looking to meet others in recovery, please visit and show your support by helping a newcomer or learn more about addiction and how these groups have helped millions to stay clean and sober from alcohol and drugs. Once again you can find them at www.sobriety.org.  I joined why don’t you give it a shot?

As always please remember, Life is Gooooood!

Go, Go, Go…

I’m a mom, sister, inlaw, of addicts and alcoholics. I’ve developed a plan, first for myself, and now for others, to keep our hearts intact while loving addicts. I do lots of work with families and loved ones and you’ll find a blog and resource page on my website that I keep updated. It is like a support group when we can’t get to our support groups. One of the tools I used is a Naranon group, but I needed more. So, I offer this instead or in conjunction with support groups.
Please check it out! If you like what you see, please share with others. I hope to help others have a good day!
