“Never apologize for showing feeling. When you do so, you apologize for truth.”
– Benjamin Disraeli
Many of us were taught to not show our emotions. As we grow in our recovery we learn that our emotions are real and they represent how we actually are feeling. We begin to recognize that showing our feelings to one another is acceptable. What we must learn is that we can not live on emotion alone. We must grow emotionally, our emotional intelligence must stabilize. We can not live reactionary lives but we must not be machines either!
Life is about balance. The recovered life takes diligence coupled with balance! Live, life, strong!
Go, Go, Go…
