Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.

Langston Hughes

We need to be dreamers, we need to dream again in order to live again. The recovered life is a life filled with hope and joy if we allow it to be. We move from guilt, remorse and embarrassment of what we have done and most importantly who we think we are towards who we are becoming. We live a fulfilled life by dreaming of who we are becoming. As we make a difference in our life by making a difference in others lives we find joy.

Dreams are the fuel that motivates us to action. That hope enables us to be, do and have everything we are already but haven’t allowed to surface. I believe that people are good. We all have the perfection of God’s love within us. When we begin to serve others we begin to realize the awesome power of recovery. We start to experience a new freedom, a new way of life, and we begin to fly like the men and women we truly are!

Life is good…

Go, Go, Go…
