Defining Moments

“Listen to your life. All moments are key moments.”  — Frederick Buechner

My mom used to say the proof is in the pudding…  We all have defining moments in our lives, the ah-ha’s that hit us often in our challenges and high points in life.  I call the challenges “SEE’s” significant emotional events.  Those are the easy ones to remember.  We can often look back and recall exactly where we were when they happened.  For instance the world trade center bombing on 9/11/2001.  I was dropping off my car at the auto body shop.

These events are the SEE’s that spark the decisions that change our lives.  For some of us we have made many decisions or so we thought, yet we never followed up and implemented those wishes.  When the real decisions come they are followed up by action.  The key moments are the ones in which we take action on a daily basis, the day to day grind so to speak.  We can surely remember the SEE moments but it is in taking the action that true change begins to occur.

If you are ready to change, make the decision, set the course and take action.  It is worth it, Life is Good, God is Good, Go for it!!!

Go, Go, Go…
