Be a positive competitor…

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
— Mark Twain

Discover the winner within you.  Each and everyone one of us has a competitive drive and the winner deep inside of us.  Have you ever listened to people gossip about another person?  They compare themselves and how they see themselves to the other person.  That is competitiveness.  I was talking to this heavy set gal once and she said, “if I ever get that fat shoot me”, speaking of another gal that was heavier than she.

The point is that we are all competitive, we are all seeking the win!  It is always there in some way shape or form.  Now I am not suggesting the comment made was a productive one but the point is there is pride and competitiveness inside us all.  Many folks deny this fact, they compare competitiveness to sports and do not see themselves that way.

We need to embrace the winner within us and not fight it off with an attitude of complacency.  Complacency is death.  Do not allow yourself to be complacent, do not go twenty years and find yourself living in regret.  Go for it, be a healthy positive competitive individual, the winner that you are!!!

Go, Go, Go…

Dan 🙂
