“A man can do only what he can do. But if he does that each day he can sleep at night and do it again the next day.”
– Albert Schweitzer
Every day is a new day. The key is giving it 100% each and every day. Sometimes 100% of what I have is not the same as 100% as yesterday or my best day. But as long as I continue to strive to be the best I can each day I will continue on the road of recovery. Life has it’s ups and downs and there are certainly days that do not go the way we would like. Yet if we remain committed to our decision to recover we will be okay for another day.
Finding our path in life is key to remaining focused. Simply living a day to day life has potential pitfalls. We are prone to become bored, frustrated or distant. Therefore, having a game plan that benefits others, defining our passion in our lives and living on purpose will enlighten our path and give us the extra ounce of courage to live a fulfilled and productive recovered life. We must find what drives us and follow that path and we are sure to live a gainful and meaningful life.
Life is goooood!
Go, Go, Go…
